Im nine and im worried about my weight. I weigh around 90. Everybody always says don’t diet. But i don’t care. I need advise on if i weigh ok and about some weight loss online program for free!!!!!!!!!!

Do you need insurance to get weight loss surgery such as the lap band or gastric bypass?

I have been overweight since I had my children 14 months apart. I never had problems with my weight before this and my metabolism has slowed down. I have tried many weight loss programs and nothing seems to work. I never lose more that 20 pounds or so. So I have been considering weight loss surgery, probably the lap band. I was wondering if having insurance was a requirement or if you can pay completely out of pocket for something like this?

Is there any professional help for obese children?

In a nutshell, my sister is 12 yrs. old, weighs 190 lbs., and wears a size 22 women’s plus size. She is a natural vegetarian (she just loves vegetables! doesn’t even like meat) but she has continued to just get bigger and bigger and my family and I are getting very scared. We think she may have a thyroid problem~ is there any way we can get her some medical help, maybe non profit organization or something that is minimal or no cost? We don’t have any medical coverage and can’t pay $1,000′s of dollars.
If she doesn’t have thyroid problem, is there any kind of professional weight-loss programs or help for children? (Gyms will not give memberships to minors). We live in Raleigh, NC. Any help would be great, thanks!

weight loss after childbirth which program really works the best?

I am 28 years old and I had my first child in feb of this year. I have been losing the weight but not the inches off the midsection and I have tried ever kind of weight loss project you can think of. How many Calories are burned in a situp or crunch? Or would you have to do to lose a pound of fat.?

I have a flabby belly it is the only “fat” on me. I would like to lose it so my pants would fit better and I could expose my belly with confidence. Any exicerse to burn belly fat and create muscle would me helpful.

I would also like to build muscle elsewhere on my body. So any recipes for homemade protien shakes would be helpful as well. Please provide the calorie information as well.

The Abdominem is made of many different muscles. You will not get the abs you want by doing crunches alone. You will have to incorporate different exercises to target the lower and upper abs as well as obliques.

To see the abs, you have to burn the fat covering it. To burn the fact you have to put your body into a deficit diet and do regular cardio while eating healthy.

The abs you see on television and magazines are a product of patience, a good exercise routine, and a great healthy diet.

Quick way to lose belly fat.?

Hey. Yeah so Im 13 years old. Im 6’5 and i way about 115 Im really skinny. But when it comes to my stomach i have a tiny amount of belly fat. :/ i remember when i was like 11 years old. I had a FLAT stomach.! and ever simce i hit 12 ive been gaining a lil weight there. Im guessing maybe its getting a bit fatter because Ive gotten my period. a year and a half ago. so the cramping and bloating might have affected it more.I wanna get in a god shape so that way it wont worsen as i get older, and by then it’ll be harder to lose it. So please dont say,”GO CHECK OUT THIS DVD” or somethin like that. I’ve been doing sit ups&crouches 3 times a week b4 i go to sleep. Like about 200/300 sometimes. I have the,”Ab Circle Pro” Machine. But When I Use it, i dont feel the same burn as when i so situps or crouches. :/ I drink lots of water. Please Im willing to try and recipe drinks or excercises.[: Thanks.!

I would like to change my appearance (Become skinny) before summer and need help?

Okay, so it’s the middle of february. I have until June to become skinny. I need help. I’m only thirteen, going on fourteen, so I have no idea what I’m doing. Haha. I have a 38 inch waist, and i would like to get a 29 inch waist. I way 144 pounds and i would like to weigh around 115. I want some fat burned off of my belly, thighs, and sides. I am 5 feet 3 inches.
So, i need help doing this. I am not allowd to go on any major diets, my parents freaked out hen i tried to about a month ago. And my dad’s makes me dinner every night (ugh) and I’ve asked him to make it a little more healthy, but he says no. It’s usually pork chops or chicken once a week. How could i eat healthier?
And i don’t have veru much time to exercise with school and work after school.
So how could i accomplish this goal? I have my mind set on a better body before summer.

you don’t eat wheat then you don’t eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don’t eat junk food, and you don’t eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,
start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It’s not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym – a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

Going on a diet.. need some quick information.?

Let me start off with my current diet. I usually get a glass of water every other day..sometimes longer. I drink soft drinks ALOT. And fast food..well, today I had three KFC Original Recipe Snackers for lunch and for dinner a Double Stack and a jr. bacon cheeseburger from Wendy’s for dinner.. This is quite typical.

This being said, I am not too overweight..yet. I am 5’8, 151 pounds. I have some muscle but belly fat is quickly accumulating on my stomach and you can no longer see my arm muscles as well..

I really want to changed this so it does not get worse or even cause health issues. I need suggests on a good diet that can help burn fat, and maybe some easy cardio and strength training.

I also need to know exactly what lean meats are, and carbohydrates. I need to know which of these to take out of my diet for a while so my body can adjust.

Here are a few tips i really think will help you out. I’ve been studying nutrition for some time now. People ask me all the time for advice. These are usually a few things i tell them if they want a quick conversation… Lol or i could go on for hours

1)avoid hydrogenated food as best as you can. Most fast food is cooked/fried in hydrogenated oils/fats. Hydrogenated fat has been linked to belly fat and has the wonderful artery clogging qualities (check labels for this, you will be surprised by how many things are hydrogenated). There are tons places online you can read about this.

Common hydrogenated food:

peanut butter (don’t forget pb in candies)
margarine/ shortening
store bought icing
things in vending machine
crackers (like ritz).. Some companies are changing tho!
Some breads
flaky crusts
refried beans (from cans, taco bell..)

2) drink more water. Drink green tea (no sugar). Green tea has so many wonderful health benefits.. Again there are lots of places to read about this online. Start to think of soda as a dessert. The green tea/ or darker teas may help with caffeine withdrawals from the soda. Lose leaf japanese green tea is the best (i drink it to help me with my bowel movements too)

3) diet foods aren’t always the answer. I never eat them. They usually contain more sugar and salt than the norm food. And they usually taste bad. The only diet foods i eat are milk and cheese.

i live in the southern midwest and finding healthy alternative food is always a challenge for me. Especially being busy with school.. Taco bell is just a block away! Food that fills me up and are quick and easy to make:

-baked potatoes with olive oil and a little salt
-baked salmon with some soy sauce and seasoning or some hot sauce and honey
-brown rice/ jasmine rice
-stir fry veggies (in olive oil or canola oil) with shrimp and oyster sauce
-bean dishes from whole beans
-homemade chicken salad sandwiches on whole wheat/multi grain bread

anyways this is just a few things.. Feel free to ask me more specific questions and i’ll try to answer.
